Case study · DeFi

A multi-chain DeFi trading terminal, phone to trading desk.

Traders were switching between protocol-specific dashboards to watch markets, place orders and manage positions across chains. The client wanted one interface that felt like a professional exchange terminal, information-dense without being cluttered, and usable on a phone.

The challenge

What stood in the way.

Every protocol had its own dashboard. Watching a market, placing an order and managing a position meant three tabs per chain. Professional density was the brief, on a screen as small as a phone, with the accessibility and reliability an exchange terminal implies.

Our approach

How we framed it.

Real-time first: WebSocket feeds with auto-reconnect drive the chart and order book, and clicking any order-book level pre-fills a limit order. Accessibility and resilience were built in from the start rather than retrofitted: skip links, ARIA live regions announcing trades and connection state, high-contrast and reduced-motion modes, lazy-loaded modules with preloading, skeleton states, and error boundaries with retry.

The solution

What we built.

  • Live charting over eight timeframes with support and resistance overlays
  • Real-time order book; market and limit entry with balance-aware sizing, slippage control, price-impact and minimum-received calculation
  • Liquidity pools, yield farming, staking and lending dashboards, a token-sale launchpad, rewards centre, and token discovery with risk scoring and verification badges
  • Accounts with bcrypt hashing, signed httpOnly session cookies and edge route protection; four-tier plan model with feature gating and billing-portal hooks
  • Protocol integrations: Jupiter, 1inch, ParaSwap, Uniswap, Aave
  • Mobile terminal with swipeable Info, Chart, Trade, Orders and Analytics tabs, price and trade button always in view

Results

What changed.

One terminal across six chains that reads like an exchange on a desk and still works one-handed on a phone, verified in the browser with Playwright on every change.
