About Prosigns
Founded in 2018 in Dallas. We build production AI and custom software for organizations that can't afford to get it wrong, from founders shipping their first MVP to enterprises modernizing systems that run their business.
The founding thesis
Prosigns was founded in 2018 with a single thesis: enterprise software is too important to be staffed by anyone other than senior engineers. The industry default: billing senior rates while delivering with juniors and subcontractors: produces rework, hidden complexity, and projects that quietly slip their dates.
We built the firm we wanted to hire. Every engineer has six- plus years of professional experience. There are no freelancers, no offshore subcontractors, no junior engineers rotating through your codebase. The bench you see in the proposal is the bench in production.
Eight years in, we’ve shipped production systems across financial services, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, logistics, energy, real estate, education, government, and media: for startups, growth-stage teams, and enterprises in the U.S., Middle East, and Asia. We don’t pitch transformation; we pitch the next thing that has to ship.
Operating principles
These show up in every contract. Not aspirations, operating rules we hire and bill against.
Every engineer working on client systems has six-plus years of professional experience. We don't subcontract. We don't put juniors on the bench during a sprint to pad margins.
We ship code that runs in production for years, not slide decks that look good in pitch meetings. The first call sets that expectation; every contract reinforces it.
Engagement models, dedicated teams, project-based, managed services, are published with named SLAs and acceptance criteria. The bench you see is the bench in your statement of work.
SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001 alignment, HIPAA-readiness, GDPR / CCPA / PIPEDA coverage, engineered in, not bolted on. Procurement teams audit us in days, not months.
Frequently asked
Every engineer working on client systems has at least six years of professional engineering experience. Average tenure across the bench is 5.2 years. There are no freelancers, no offshore subcontractors, and no junior engineers rotating through the codebase to pad margins. The bench you see in the proposal is the bench in production — including the senior delivery owner, the department lead, and the named co-piloting engineers. This is published in every contract and operationally enforced; buyers can audit the engineer roster against the SOW at any point.
Three offices: Dallas, Texas (global headquarters, founded 2018), Doha, Qatar (Middle East operations), and Lahore, Pakistan (engineering center). Dallas anchors US client engagements and global leadership. Doha leads Middle East and GCC engagements with senior engineers in-region for local procurement, ministry-facing engagement, and Arabic-language stakeholder coverage. Lahore is the primary engineering talent base, staffing embedded squads across all eight practices with APAC-shift coverage for US and GCC engagements. Time zones overlap intentionally so every engagement has continuous senior coverage from a real office.
The bench is the named senior engineers who will deliver — the senior delivery owner who signs the SOW and stays through go-live, the department lead with budget authority who attends steering, the named co-piloting engineers who write the code and run the deploys, and any cross-practice co-pilots from CITADEL, CORTEX, ATLAS, or others as scope requires. Every named engineer is in the proposal; substitutions during the engagement require a written SOW amendment. We publish the engineer roster against the SOW so buyers can audit the bench at any point — the operational expression of "senior-only, no exceptions."
SOC 2 Type II audit underway. ISO 27001 aligned, with annual internal audit and a 2026 H2 certification target. HIPAA and HITECH safeguards engineered into healthcare engagements with documented risk analysis, incident response, workforce training, and BAA chain. PCI-DSS supported on engagements where cardholder data flows through deliverables. SOX 404 IT general controls engineered for financial-services engagements with SOX impact. Federal Reserve SR 11-7 model risk management aligned for ML systems with financial-impact decisions. NYDFS Part 500 and SDAIA AI ethics aligned per engagement scope. The three-office structure (Dallas, Doha, Lahore) is the operational answer to time zones, not a marketing line. A US client engagement gets Dallas leadership during US business hours plus Lahore engineering covering APAC-shift overnight builds and deploys. A GCC engagement gets Doha leading in-region plus Lahore in shift-overlap. Every engagement has a published operating cadence — standups, steering, demos — that names the office and time zone responsible for each rhythm. We don't paper over time zones with "follow-the-sun" branding when the operational reality is hand-offs.
All three, with the caveat that the engagement model shifts. Startups (pre-seed through Series A) typically engage through LAUNCHPAD's MVP and product-engineering practice — fixed-scope build, four-month median, with the founder pairing directly with the senior delivery owner. Growth-stage teams (Series B-D, mid-market) typically scope dedicated-team engagements across multiple practices for a quarter to a year. Enterprises engage through any of the published models, most commonly retained dedicated teams or managed services with multi-quarter SOWs. Discovery in every case is fixed-price so the procurement pattern can settle before the build commits.
