Case study · DeFi
Traders were switching between protocol-specific dashboards to watch markets, place orders and manage positions across chains. The client wanted one interface that felt like a professional exchange terminal, information-dense without being cluttered, and usable on a phone.
The challenge
Every protocol had its own dashboard. Watching a market, placing an order and managing a position meant three tabs per chain. Professional density was the brief, on a screen as small as a phone, with the accessibility and reliability an exchange terminal implies.
Our approach
Real-time first: WebSocket feeds with auto-reconnect drive the chart and order book, and clicking any order-book level pre-fills a limit order. Accessibility and resilience were built in from the start rather than retrofitted: skip links, ARIA live regions announcing trades and connection state, high-contrast and reduced-motion modes, lazy-loaded modules with preloading, skeleton states, and error boundaries with retry.
The solution
Results
One terminal across six chains that reads like an exchange on a desk and still works one-handed on a phone, verified in the browser with Playwright on every change.
